Hi! Here's what's here for you to see:
If you are a dog lover (or just want to see some cool pictures of greyhounds) then visit my greyhound pages.
Although I recently removed all family genealogy from my site, you can still view pics of family and friends on my family pages. - Hasn't been updated for a while, but I'll try to update it soon.
I also have thrown some pages of home improvment projects. In these pages, I've cronicled my adventures in gutting and rebuilding bathrooms (future projects will follow)
Dont forget to check out my motorcycle page. Some real nice pics...
Here is a list of charities that I support:
The American Red Cross - For all that they do in this country and internationally.
Saint Anne's Episcopal Church - This is my church, and I am proud to say that I work on the church's web page and serve on the Vestry. This church does a lot for the community in the way of food donations, coat drives and community service projects.
The Free Church of the Annunciation - This little church has been a key player in rebuilding the Broadmoor neighborhood in New Orleans since Katrina. The church supports the community efforts by hosting mission teams who come in and volenteer their time to help rebuild. I have whittnessed the devistation of Katrina first hand and can say with all certainty that this little church has touched so many lives.
The Salvation Army - For the work that they do getting people on their feet!
Food For The Poor - This is a charity that has an efficiency level of 96% in charitable commitment and 97% in fundraising efficiency. When you give to this charity, most of the funds get to where it is needed most (instead of administrative costs)
Big Brother/Big Sister - This is charity that I have been involved with the longest. I have always said (even when I didn't have any money in the bank), that time is the hardest thing to give. I spent thirteen years as a big brother to three young men. While it seems as though many of the big/little relationships sort of fizzle as the little hits their later teenage years, I hope that I have enstilled something in each of them that will grow with them as they get older (the same way my older brothers did for me when I was just a boy).
National Greyhound Adoption Program - This is where we get our greyhounds. The greyhound is such a gentle dog and they make greyt pets! We have adopted four dogs from NGAP and will continue to do so until we are no longer able.
